Willy is the sire of our bitch Ch Mikudi Over the Moon. (DAISY)

SHELLOY is the kennel prefix of Peter and Joyce Mortimer. Their involvement with pur breed dog showing and breeding goes back to around 1970 when they purchased their first Shetland Sheepdog from Vi Smith of Cardiff Kennels. It is really not surprising that they became involved in the show scene as Peter's family had a Tibetan Terrier in 1952 in England and Joyce's family were involved in the showing, breeding and judging of bantams.

Over the years Peter became a specialist Sheltie judge and the Shetland Sheepdogs became well known in the NSW show scene.

Around 1996 Peter and Joyce decided to change breeds and imported their first Tibetan Terrier from Castlemar Tibetan Terriers, Stella Marshall and Viv Carpenter in New Zealand(Ch Castlemar Jego Boostr), later followed Tibetan Terrier Grand Ch Castlemar Matilda also from Stella Marshall and Viv Carpenter of New Zealand. Their first litter resulted in two champions and they have imported Ch Mikudi Over the Moon from Ireland (Daisy).

Shelloy Tibetan Terriers take the breeding of tibetan terriers very seriously with all their dogs being tested for hip dysplasia and genetic eye disorders. Litters of puppies are from carefully selected parentage.

This site aims to provide information about Shelloy Tibetan Terriers, Tibetan terriers in general, and useful canine information.
